Jack Leyden, (Just Jack), plays songs that people like to hear. I heard someone say that about me once and thought that it really summed me up pretty well. I’m a guitarist and singer from Cape Cod and this is what I do for a living. I play singalongs, party songs, dance songs, classic rock and country songs, new country songs, pop songs. Fifties songs, sixties songs, seventies songs, eighties songs, nineties songs, current songs, Classic songs, jazz songs, love songs and not love songs. I do these songs at bars and restaurants, parties and weddings, happy hours and corporate events. I’ve played at weddings and funerals, clothing stores and train stations. I play very long sets. My first set is usually 90 minutes minimum and my song-list is immense. It is at 400 tunes right now. I take requests and generally just have a good time with the people who are in front of me. I don’t need an excuse to have a good time.
